The Loch Fyne Hotel is situated on the shores of Loch Fyne in the Royal Burgh of Inveraray and was originally built as a private house. The Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa has 67 guest rooms, Standard rooms are a good size and come in warm, natural shades. The superior double rooms are spacious with a separate sitting area. Each of the 67 bedrooms at the Loch Fyne Hotel has a colour television, tea and coffee making facilities and a telephone. Superior rooms are available if you are looking for more space and additional soft furnishings. If you are celebrating a special occasion then the Junior Suites are ideal, they are beautifully furnished and offer stunning views over Loch Fyne.

Loch Fyne hotel has a Family room with adjoining Twin room that can sleep up to 6 guests, however this room would be charged as two separate rooms.

Bar & Restaurant

Guests can enjoy dining in the Clansman Restaurant with its beautiful loch views. The chefs make the most of the lochside setting with its fresh oysters and mussels or the local Scotch beef or lamb. Sample a local Fyne Ale in the bar or one of the many malt whiskies from nearby distilleries.

The Loch Fyne Hotel's Leisure facilities include a 15m swimming pool with sauna and steam-room. We are pleased to announce the return of the famous hot tub which is back by popular demand! This allows guests the chance to enjoy a lazy summer evening in a state of total relaxation. The spa is also available with a number of different treatments available so that you can relax and unwind.

A82 to Tarbert Loch Lomond, continue through Arrochar and then Inveraray
Take the A83 to Campbeltown. At Inveraray, continue through town on A83. You will find the Loch Fyne hotel five minutes along, on the Lochgilphead side.

The family rooms can only accommodate a max of 2 adults and 2 children. Unless otherwise stated guests booked on a rate/package including Dinner receive a six course Table D'Hote Menu, with the option to purchase from the a la carte menu at a bracketed (reduced) supplement. Loch Views, Suites, Superior Rooms & Interconnecting Rooms are on request only. Loch Fyne's Superior rooms are all Double Rooms. Please note if paying by credit card there will be a £2.50 charge made by the hotel Best Room Available - you will be allocated the best available room on check in. Please note that a superior room is not guaranteed, unless you have opted to pay the supplement for a guaranteed upgrade. Please note that the Festive Packages are 4 nights Christmas, 3 nights Twixmas and 3 nights at New Year. When booking for Festive Breaks, please book the Festive Package. If you book on the short break rates there is a minimum 3 night stay required and you will NOT be included in any of the Festive Programme. Classic Britain Children's rates do NOT apply at this time. The location of the Loch Fyne Hotel in Inveraray means that it is great for golfing, boating, walking, riding or visiting some of the areas magnificent castles. An ideal starting point if you are visiting these castles is Inveraray Castle only a 5-minute walk from the hotel, and is still home to the Duke and Duchess of Argyll.

Loch Fyne was formed around 10000 years ago when glaciers retreated and rising sea levels flooded the lower reaches of Glen Fyne. It’s the longest and deepest of Scotland’s many sea lochs, and it’s seafood-rich. Loch Fyne and the nearby Loch Awe are renowned for large stocks of fish including Wild Brown Trout (British Record), Rainbow Trout, Salmon and Monster Pike - increasing your chances of landing your supper!

Visitors don’t even require a permit to fish in Loch Fyne - some have been known to throw a fishing line off the pier in the town’s centre. Loch Awe is just 10 miles down the road from Inveraray. Free and suitable for all - and some patience and/or a hip flask will probably help...

Keen walkers will be spoilt for choice in Inverary. Walk up to the 18th century watch tower (known as Dun-na-Cuaich) in the castle grounds, which takes from one to three hours from the hotel and back, depending on which route you take. Or walk out to the Dubh Loch, which takes around two hours. Maps are available at reception. Free and suitable for all. Sturdy footwear essential!

Another popular attraction in Inveraray is the Inveraray Jail the former county courthouse and county prison for Argyll, where there was a number of Jail breaks!
