The team of chefs are dedicated to serving only the highest quality food. They believe in using only the finest and freshest produce, planning to season and ensuring wherever possible UK produce comes first.

Set yourself up for the day ahead with a full Scottish breakfast, prepared from the finest local produce and free-range eggs. Or for something lighter, select a fresh fruit salad, cereals or warm croissants from the continental buffet

Seasonal menus ensure a fresh, varied selection of dishes and because quality tastes better we only serve corn-fed poultry, grass-fed beef and wild white fish in the restaurants.

The interior boasts an elegant, warm décor, crisp table linen and views over the terrace and Macdonald Aviemore Resort, a perfect setting for a romantic meal or civilised breakfast.

The Daily Menu is included for guests staying on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast basis, however if you would like to select from the A La Carte menu for any course supplements will apply to your final bill.

Giovanni's Italian Ristorante located at the Macdonald Morlich offers guests a real taste of Italy, right at the heart of Macdonald Aviemore Resort. The Italian restaurant is open for dinner all year round from Friday to Sunday, and daily during peak periods. The restaurant serves authentic Italian pizza and pasta dishes, all complemented by a fabulous wine list, including fine Italian wines and quality beers.

Spey Valley Carvery at Macdonald Aviemore Resort
Spey Valley Carvery is open daily for a wholesome buffet breakfast from 7.30am until 10am and lunches from 12.00pm until 2.30pm. Serving homemade soups, snacks, salads, daily carvery, hot meals and drinks, it excels at relaxed family dining and makes an ideal refuelling stop after a shopping spree.

Scottish Steak Club at Macdonald Aviemore Resort
Treat yourself to a mouth-watering steak at Scottish Steak Club within Spey Valley Golf & Country Club, just one mile from Macdonald Aviemore Resort. The restaurant boasts stunning views of the lake and surrounding woodland, along with a relaxed country club atmosphere. All of the beef is traditionally aged for a minimum of 21 days and hand cut by highly skilled butchers using time-honoured techniques.

Just through from the Main Resort Reception and next to Spey Valley Shopping and Spey Valley 3D Cinema, Spey Valley Sports Bar is the ideal place to relax with a drink and 3D Sky Sports.

The Laggan Whisky Bar at Macdonald Aviemore Resort
The Scottish Highlands are famous for their whisky distilleries and Aviemore is no exception. Specialising in malt whisky, the cosy Laggan bar in the Macdonald Highlands Hotel sports over 60 local Speyside malts, and as winner of the Best Wee Dram Hotel Club awards in 2011, you can't leave before trying one or two!

The knowledgeable bar staff will help advise you on the best one to try to suit your tastes. If you prefer, ask our bartender to whip up your favourite cocktail. Feeling peckish? Choose a light meal or snack from the lounge bar menu.
