John Cobb
'Cobbs' is named after John Cobb who was killed on Loch Ness in 1952 whilst attempting to break the world water-speed record in his vessel 'Crusader'. Cobb had spent a lot of time in the village of Drumnadrochit and had won the hearts of the locals. Many still recount the fateful day with clarity.

From Tomnahurich Bridge in Inverness, the Clansman Hotel is located straight road along the A82. After approx 10 miles, you'll see the Clansman Hotel on your right.
If you're travelling from Fort William direction, the Clansman Hotel is about four miles from Drumnadrochit, on the left hand side of the road.
