CLASSIC ROOMS
You'll get a really sound night's sleep in a comfortable Classic bedroom at Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel, Golf & Spa - ideal if you've just completed a round of golf on our Emerald or Sapphire courses, or indeed if you're totally relaxed following a wonderful Elemis spa treatment. Once the day is done, retire to your roomy Classic bedroom with free, unlimited WiFi powered by The Cloud and continue to relax in front of the flat screen TV before snuggling down for a great night's sleep. If you're lucky enough to be in a ground floor room, then you'll also get your own patio and view over the course.

FAMILY ROOMS

You'll be amazed at how much there is to see and do close by for our younger guests. A trip to nearby Chester Zoo to the North West or to the Ironbridge Museums, south of the hotel. Once you've completed your family day of adventure and exploration retire to your spacious family bedroom. With all the same benefits and features of our Classic bedrooms, Family rooms can also accommodate two extra beds for children up to the age of 12. Entertain them with their favourite TV shows from the plasma TV or use the free, unlimited WiFi access.

CLUB CLASSIC ROOMS
Eye up the first tee and prepare yourself for the challenge ahead…from your Club Classic Twin or Double bedroom. You'll get a captivating view of the first tee and the 18th green to whet your appetite for the day's golf. These are also stunning views for those on a more sedate spa break or business trip. Stretch out in your king-sized bed with mattress topper and three-foot pillow for one of the most comfortable sleeps.

EXECUTIVE ROOMS
Stylishly furnished Executive bedrooms at Macdonald Hill Valley Spa, Hotel & Golf really are something special for a really special occasion. The stunning bathroom includes upgraded Arran Aromatic toiletries, and has a separate bath and shower. After a sound night's sleep in our large comfortable beds with mattress topper and three-foot pillows, enjoy a coffee as you take in the stunning views; lovely French doors lead onto patios, where you can sit and admire the vistas.

FEATURE ROOMS
These bedrooms feature either a large King sized bed or Twin beds and patio doors leading out to an outdoor seating area with views over the golf course. Feature rooms also have beautiful bathrooms with luxury toiletries and separate shower and bathtub. Guests can also enjoy complimentary use of bathrobes and slippers, a half bottle of red or white house wine and a complementary drinks voucher which can be redeemed in our Lounge Bar.

ACCESSIBLE ROOMS
Accessible bedrooms at Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel, Golf & Spa have all the special features of our Classic bedrooms but adapted for ease of use of guests. Wider doors allow easier access, baths and showers are lowered and all rooms are fitted with sonic and light emitting alarms connected to reception for that extra peace of mind. Talk to us about inter-connecting room options if you are travelling with a carer.

In the welcoming surroundings of the Borders Restaurant, select from the range of relaxed modern dishes, made with only the finest ingredients. Free range eggs, corn-fed poultry, grass-fed beef and wild white fish are on the menu, alongside plenty of seasonal options too.

Alternatively, the conservatory setting of the Macdonald Hill Valley Bar is the perfect spot for a snack, pre-dinner drink, or to enjoy the views with a peaty malt whisky after a round of golf.

Borders Restaurant
Borders Restaurant is a stylish, relaxed venue with an adjoining conservatory, serving deliciously fresh seasonal food. Specialities include Shropshire Cheese Beignet, or try our Roasted Highland Lamb Rump served with creamed potato, braised red cabbage and rosemary sauce. Enjoy a glass of wine from our great selection, and finish with one of our deliciously decadent desserts.
