The head chef of the Grill Room Restaurant has experimented with lots of different dishes to deliver an amazing menu, packed with the freshest meat, fish and seasonal ingredients; plus they've got some really unusual flavour combinations which are just fantastic.
Seasonally inspired dishes, using locally sourced ingredients, are the foundation of the menu, and they have been infused with ingenious touches from the talented Executive Chef and kitchen brigade.
The state-of-the-art kitchen is equipped with The Josper Grill (pronounced ‘Hosper’) which is taking the culinary world by storm. Lauded by world-famous chefs including Gordon Ramsay, Heston Blumenthal and Jason Atherton, the Cairn is proud to be one of the few venues in the UK to feature a Josper Grill.
Of Spanish origin, the Josper is a sealed oven, fuelled by a Bincho-tan ‘white’ hardwood oak charcoal, which grills meat, fish and vegetables swiftly and perfectly – creating unrivalled flavours for discriminating diners.
The outstanding menu is matched by an extensive drinks list, featuring wines, champagnes, ports and cognacs to suit any occasion.

Directions to the Cairn Hotel in Auchterarder
TRAVELLING SOUTH (A9)
From Perth, follow the A9 south for 8 miles and turn onto the A824 Main Road for 5 miles through Auchterarder. At the junction of Orchil Road turn right into Tullibardine Road. The entrance to Cairn Lodge & Hotel is immediately to your left.
TRAVELLING NORTH (A9)
From Stirling follow the M9 onto the A9 and continue for approximately 14miles taking the Auchterarder turn off. On your left you will see a sign for Auchterarder golf club, turn left onto Orchil Road which is brown signposted. In approximately 500 yards you will see the Cairn.
There is ample car parking on site

Guest staying on a dinner inclusive rate will have £25 per adult allocation to spend in the restaurant, offering you a wide selection from the menu. Should you choose to spend anything over this amount it will be just transferred onto your bill if you have agreed at the time of check in for charges to go to your room, alternatively you can pay the difference in the Restaurant. Should you decide not to dine or if you do not spend the full allocation, there will no refund.
