Penthouse Suite
Located on the top floor of the Main House, the Penthouse is the ultimate in luxury bedrooms, you will enjoy lounging and luxuriating in the sumptuous bathroom, which has a TV, separate shower enclosure and free standing bath. The addition of a sitting room adds to the private setting of this room.

The Senior Chefs, have a background working in of some of the most exclusive venues in the country. Bringing their experience to Thornton Hall, creating a selection of fantastic menus suited to all occasions, together with the ambiance of Lawns, an unparalleled dining experience is created.

The Restaurant Manager, and his team will ensure that from the second you arrive to the second you leave, you and your guests will receive the very best in service and advice on how to enhance your dining experience.

The Lawns Restaurant has been awarded 3 AA Rosettes. To attain this standard, expectations of the kitchen are high. Exact technique, flair and imagination must come through in every dish, and balance and depth of flavour are all-important. The Thornton Hall was the first Hotel Restaurant in Merseyside to have achieved this standard.

The Head Chef, Andrew Richards, works tirelessly to ensure his team create a dining experience that excites your senses and far exceeds your expectations. The Tasting Menu is Andrew's signature creation, it combines exquisite flavour bursts with perfect balance, an experience not to be missed.

Lawns is open throughout the week, we would always advise booking your table in advance, and respectfully ask you to observe the dress code of smart casual attire, no jeans or trainers.

Times Brasserie
At the Times Brasserie you can enjoy anything from a delicious fruit smoothie to a mouth-watering 3 course meal and lots in-between.
The Times Brasserie also plays host to lots of social occasions such as quiz nights and themed evenings throughout the year which always prove to be a great night out. Also most major sporting events are screened for your pleasure.

If you book on a dinner, bed and breakfast break you can use your dining allocation towards any of the evening dishes in Times.

Lawns Lounge & Bar
The Lawns Lounge is open to non-residents as well as residents, so take a seat and enjoy the scenery, the lounge offers a fine array of drinks and food to enjoy whilst you read, talk, or just lounge around!

PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE FOR CHILDREN USING THE SPA
No children under the age of 6 allowed anywhere in the facility with the exception of Times Restaurant.

Children between 6 and 16 years old may use the swimming pool only, and must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult also in the swimming pool.

Children’s use of the swimming pool is restricted to 10am - 12 noon and 2pm - 4.45pm daily.

Children may not use the spa pool, hot tub, steam room or sauna. Minimum age for Spa Treatments is 16.
