Each of the 22 bedrooms at the Ruxburghe Hotel & Golf Course are all fully equipped with flat screen TV, iPod stations, Wi-Fi and a selection of books, plus hospitality tray. A dram of Roxburghe Blend awaits guests staying in the Suites or Four Poster Rooms.

There are 3 easy access rooms which are located on the ground floor. The courtyard rooms offer family flexibility and the option to have dogs in the bedrooms – popular with country sports visitors.

CLASSIC
The classic rooms are all you need for a perfect stay. Comfortable & simple, Classic rooms are suitable for double, single or twin occupancy.

COURTYARD
Rooms in the courtyard are more modern in their styling and feature state of the art bathrooms and the privacy of being a short walk from the hotel. Dog lovers can house their pets in these rooms and they retain a comfortable and relaxed feel.

DELUXE
The deluxe rooms provide an extra level of space and comfort. With lovely views, additions such as comfortable chairs, sumptuous decoration and little touches such as a variety of books, these are hotel rooms at their best.

FOUR POSTER
Many of the rooms in the hotel have four-poster beds and some have log fires. A gorgeous and romantic option, the four posters are the perfect location for breakfast in bed or an afternoon’s snooze.

FAMILY ROOMS
The Roxburghe Hotel can offer cots and small beds in rooms where families wish to share, or three of three of the courtyard rooms are adjoining, to create a private suite. BOWMONT SUITE
The original master bedroom of the house, the Bowmont Suite is luxurious, spacious and overlooks the lawns of the hotel. With sofas set beside the open log fire, this is a wonderful space to relax and afternoon tea can also be served in your room. The suite also has many other original features and a bathroom that includes the original wooden bench seat toilet that has been restored.

WOODSIDE SUITE
Designed on three levels and set in the Courtyard's clock tower, this suite includes a sitting room with sofa bed on the ground floor and a staircase leading up to the four poster bedroom. A few steps lead to a separate dressing room and bathroom.

Bar & Restaurant

The Chef and his team at the award winning dining room work closely with the best of local producers to ensure that all the food is local whenever possible. You also can’t get more local than food grown or reared on the Roxburghe Estate itself.

Supplies include Burnside Game in Kelso, Stichills Jersey dairy, Borders Berries and Ettrick Valley Smokery

The hotel is honored to have a special selection of wines from the Duke’s personal cellar in Floors Castle for those with an interest in fine wines. The wine list has a wide range of choices from around the world and wines can be recommended to accompany your meals, if you prefer. Our whisky selection in the Library Bar includes over 100 malts and is proud to be part of scotlandwhisky.com

DINING ROOM
The Dining Room provides a delightful spot for a leisurely breakfast or a quiet and relaxing dinner, with views across the spreading lawns of the estate, an open fire and gentle tones of blue that match the Ker family tartan carpet

LIBRARY
Just off the entrance hall, the library is a lovely warm room, perfect for a relaxed lunch or afternoon tea by the fire or the place to enjoy pre-dinner drinks or a late night dram.

DRAWING ROOM
A firm favorite with guests, the Drawing Room is a gorgeously sunny place with rich fabric covered sofas and a roaring fire. This room is comfortable and informal and is the ideal place to relax with friends or read the papers. Chess, cards, board games and some fascinating books are available for guests use.

TERRACE
The traditional Victorian terrace enjoys great views over the lawn and is ideal for summer evening drinks.

Also offering Jessica for nails, hands, feet and Mii make up for all your special occasions. The range of treatments on offer provides a relaxing and rewarding element to your visit.

The Health and Beauty Suite can be found in the courtyard outside of the main building and is a haven for peace and tranquility.
