The Duchally Country Estate in Auchterarder was built in 1838 by the Monteath family. Set in 27 acres of parklands and surrounded by a backdrop of mountains, glens, lochs and rivers the Duchally Lodge Resort combines all to provide you with the perfect holiday in Scotland.
The elegant country house hotel of the Duchally Country Estate in Perth & Kinross has been completely refurbished and restored to its full splendour and is considered to be one of Perthshire’s finest and most distinguished country house hotels.
The highly appointed hotel rooms at Duchally allow you to relax and unwind in comfort during your holiday in Scotland. Each of the king size or twin bedded rooms offer traditional décor, warm welcoming tones and either garden or mountain views.
Duchally Country Estate Resort in Auchterarder also features 55 luxury lodges set within the grounds of the estate. Each lodge is furnished and equipped to the highest standards of Scottish holiday accommodation and each with a panoramic view of the stunning Perthshire countryside.
A Duchally lodge can accommodate up to eight guests and most bedrooms have full en suite facilities. Each contemporary styled self-catering lodge has open plan living space, 32” flat screen TV, fully fitted kitchens and double and twin bed rooms with stand-alone or private bathrooms.
The facilities available on-site at Duchally Country Estate include a Whisky Bar which is stocked with 39 different varieties of Scotch Whisky and serves light snacks, an award winning restaurant, spa and massage facilities and a games room for younger guests. The Duchally Hotel also has a leisure centre with indoor heated swimming pool and gymnasium, a whirlpool hot tub, sauna and steam room for those who just want to relax.

The excellence achieved in terms of quality and presentation has been recognised with awards from“Eat Scotland”, run by the Scottish Tourist Board.
The Whisky menu is available all day at Duchally and has been carefully prepared to offer you a generous selection of fine dishes featuring both meals with a strong Scottish influence and those with a truly international accent. The vast majority of the produce prepared in the kitchen is sourced locally in Perthshire and, wherever possible, is certified as being of organic, traceable and freedom origin.
The elegant wood-panelled lounge bar is a cosy and comfortable meeting place, with an open log fire where guests gather prior to dinner or enjoy a “small libation” with family or friends. You are encouraged to experience the hospitality of the friendly bar staff, who are equally comfortable spinning yarns as they are advising you on the fine selection of beers, wines and spirits from the well stocked cellar.

Directions to Duchally Country Estate Lodges in Auchterarder
Nearest airports: Edinburgh Airport and Glasgow Airport, 80 km/50 miles
Edinburgh: follow M9 (Grangemouth-Stirling). Stay on the M9 until it becomes the A9 dual carriageway. After 18 miles, exit onto the A823 (Crieff – Dunfermline – Gleneagles). At T-junction turn right towards Dunfermline. Continue for 1 mile and then take the left turn to follow the signs for Duchally Country Estate.
From Glasgow: take the M9 (Perth – Stirling) which becomes the A9 and follow the directions above.
From Perth: take the A9 (Glasgow – Stirling). After approximately 12 miles take the A823 exit and at roundabout follow sign for Dunfermline. Continue 1 mile then turn left following signs for Duchally.

LODGES: Please note that there are minimum stays for the lodges depending on time of week and year. This is normally 2 nights midweek and 3 nights at the weekend. The system currently cannot reject any one night stays booked but please be aware it is highly likely that these will not be able to be accepted and we will contact you to advise accordingly. Please Note our Normal Booking T&C's Do Not apply to the Duchally Country Estate Resort. The following Terms are: 1)Payment At the time of making your reservation, a 25% deposit to the value of your full stay will be charged to your debit or credit card. We accept payment by American Express, MasterCard and Visa. The balance will be due for payment upon arrival at the resort and may be made by credit card or cash. We reserve the right in some cases to charge your credit or debit card provided at time of booking the full amount of your stay 7 days prior arrival as per our cancellation policy. A credit card pre-authorization will also be required to cover incidentals during your stay. “Special Offers” including “Advance Purchase Offers” reservations with non-refundable rates are paid in full at the time of booking. All group bookings of 5 or more rooms are required to pay the balance in full 7 days prior to arrival. We reserve the right to cancel any bookings that have not been paid in full. We shall endeavour to place groups travelling together as close as possible but please note that we cannot always guarantee specified lodges 2)Cancellation policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before arrival date, 25% of all nights reserved will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of non-arrival, the total price of the reservation will be charged 3)Vacating Rooms Hotel Bedrooms are normally available from 2pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 11am on the day of departure. Self Catering Lodges are available from 4pm on day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Where possible we try and accommodate early check ins or late check outs but please note that this is subject to availability and resort operations needs. 4)Restaurant Bookings The restaurant at our resort is very popular and we therefor regret that we cannot guarantee availability of tables for all guests staying in our self catering lodges. We strongly recommend making a dinner reservation ahead of arrival by contacting the hotel directly. We recommend if dinner is booked on DB&B bases that guests reserve a time for a table prior arrival. 5)Use of Leisure Centre Children under the age of 15 years are not permitted into the swimming pool unless accompanied by an adult and supervision is required at all times. Children under the age of 16 years are not allowed to use the fitness equipment . Is not advisable for young children to use the Jacuzzi, sauna or steam room. Children over the age of 5 years are not allowed to use changing rooms of the opposite gender. Additional information is displayed at the Leisure Centre. The purpose of these restrictions is to ensure the well being and enjoyment of all users. All non members are required to register before admittance into the Leisure Centre. 6)We strongly recommend that all customers take out adequate travel insurance to safeguard against risks such as theft, accident or the cost of cancelling a holiday.
