The Beaches Hotel in Prestatyn offers an ideal base to explore the North Wales coast, renowned for it's ancient castles, caverns and legendary dragons and Offa's Dyke which weaves northward along the Welsh border to Barkby Beach.

Every bedroom at the Beaches Hotel has an en-suite bathroom with either a bath or shower and all the usual home comforts, television with freeview, free Wifi internet connection, desk/dressing table, tea and coffee making, and hairdryers.

There is a variety of rooms available: double, twin and single and a few triple rooms with one double and one single bed.

Sea View Rooms
For a very special break you may prefer one of the Sea View bedrooms, available with either double or twin beds. Sea View rooms are larger bedrooms with special features.
Family Rooms

The Beaches Hotel has 4 family inter-connecting rooms, made up of one twin and one double room, each with an en-suite bathroom and television, with an internal connecting door. 

The hotel also has a large family suite that can comfortably accommodate a family of 5 and a travel cot or rollabed too. Supplements will apply for this room type.

The Dunes Restaurant is located with south facing windows, which look towards the Prestatyn Hills, a perfect place to enjoy a Sunday lunch or evening dinner.

The Beaches Hotel Dunes Restaurant serves an extensive choice of traditional and speciality dishes. The chef is proud to support quality local suppliers and use Welsh ingredients for chef’s favourites such as Roast leg of Welsh Lamb followed by our Homemade Baked Vanilla Cheesecake.

Breathe the fresh sea air as you enjoy coffee in the morning on the patio or a glass of wine in the evening in the Promenade Bar.

The leisure facilities at the Beaches Hotel are home to an indoor swimming pool, which is lined with picture windows, which allow sunlight to fill the room even in the middle of winter.

The facilities also include sauna, steam room and a well-equipped gym.

The children's games room has a pool table, games machine playing various games, darts board and a sweet vending machine.

(Use of the gym is restricted to guests over 16 years.)

Directions to Beaches Hotel in Prestatyn, North Wales

By Car
From the East follow M56 west to the A5117.
Continue westards on the A5117 to join Welsh Road East (A550) in a south westerly drection. Take the first slip road up to the round about. Take the fourth turn off roundabout on to A548 and continue straight on this road through other roundabouts and over the large Queens Bridge. Still on A548 keep going for a further 14 miles till you reach Prestatyn. As the road bends to the right and over a railway bridge, take the first turn right and first sharp left. At the end of this road is the Beaches Hotel

By Train
Prestatyn has a charming railway station, which is on the main rail route from Crewe to Holyhead. Virgin Trains run daily to London Euston and Arriva Trains Wales operates trains to Chester, Crewe, Manchester, Birmingham, and across North Wales. There are also trains each day to Cardiff and South Wales via Shrewsbury and Hereford.
