The chefs at the Macdonald Linden Hall Hotel have the freedom to create menus that are unique and make the most of fresh, seasonal ingredients. The chefs work from whole raw ingredients, do not overly prepare and plan the menus by the season to ensure wherever possible UK produce comes first.
In one of the Manor House's airy drawing room, the Dobson Restaurant serves award-winning food in a friendly atmosphere. Reserve your table by a full-length window and enjoy views across the carefully trimmed lawns as you try the fine British cuisine. Choose from chef's creative à la carte menu and dine on favourites such as tarte tatin of scallops, smoked salmon and king prawns with fresh lime and dill. It's also a good place to start your day in style with a healthy, hearty breakfast, or come at night to enjoy a delicious dinner.

Take advantage of the summer sunshine by choosing a table on the patio and enjoy lunchtime favourites like roasted tomato soup with pesto and roast chicken, gem lettuce and tarragon mayonnaise sandwiches. Return in the evening and sample tempting dishes such as chicken liver parfait with roasted fig on toasted brioche, followed by butternut squash risotto. Finish the evening by retiring to the golfers' lounge for a nightcap.
