Bar & Restaurant
The restaurant floor has been stripped back to natural wood and this is complemented by the burgundy shade on the walls. The tables are finished off with local slate place mats and crisp white linen napkins.
When the months start to get cooler the hotel lights the roaring log fires in the restaurant to provide that extra glow.
The Deeside Inn’s restaurant serves a large variety of meals to choose from. Why not try the Deeside Steak Burger with sides of mushroom, cherry vine tomatoes and chunky chips or the Deeside Game main course, accompanied by whole baby onions and bacon lourdons bound in a plum tomato and red wine sauce.
Dinner is served between 6pm-8.30pm every day
The breakfast menu provides the choice of either continental or full breakfast options with Scottish favourites such as homemade porridge, Stornoway black pudding, smoked salmon and Finnan haddie.

The lounge is a warm, cosy and welcoming area with the added bonus of a real fire to provide extra warmth when required.
One of the most popular parts of The Deeside Inn is the superb new Ceilidh bar. The Ceilidh bar offers a variety of beers, wines and a wide range of malt whiskies. Alternatively, popular spirits are available too either as a cool aperitif or as a liqueur after an enjoyable good meal.
The Ceidilh Bar is open from 11am to Midnight with bar meals being served from 12 - 2:30pm & 6 - 8:30pm

By Car
From the south on the A93, follow the road in to the centre of Ballater and take right on to Victoria Road The Deeside Inn is located on the left.
From the East follow the A93 into Ballater, driving alongside the River Dee on Tullich Road. At the end of Tullich Road, turn right on to Bridge Street, then take left into Victoria Road, in which the Deeside Inn hotel sits on the left hand side.
The nearest car park is 10m from the Deeside Inn Hotel and is Free to park.
By Train and Bus
The nearest station to The Deeside Inn is located in Aberdeen, from where local bus services run to Ballater.

There is always something going on… The Deeside Inn has built up a strong reputation over the last few years as a venue for live music. Performers include the The Jetsonics, Terrorvision front man Tony Wright, Charlie McKennon of Capercaillie and Roddy Woomble of Idlewild – to name a few, have all graced the stage at Deeside
Live music usually takes place on a Saturday night, though midweek sessions crop up occasionally so keep your eyes peeled for what’s on. Open Scottish music sessions take place every other Wednesday at The Deeside Inn. Everyone is welcome to come along – either to sit back and relax as a spectator or bring an instrument along and join in.
