There are 18 modern bedrooms within the hotel and 31 bedrooms within the eight lodges, including three self-catering lodges. The log cabins all blend into the surrounding countryside thanks to their attractive grass roofs – all of which are ecologically friendly as the turf provides natural insulation.

Executive Twin/Doubles

The executive rooms all have lakeside or woodland views and a private patio, perfect for relaxing outside when the mood takes you (and the weather is behaving). Two of the executive rooms are open plan designs with a lounge area, double bedroom and a second bedroom fitted with bunk beds – ideal for a family holiday, weekend breaks or dog-friendly holidays. Wharfedale Suite

Situated in Chevin’s main hotel building, The Wharfedale Suite is laid out over two levels, with a lounge on the ground floor and a double bedroom upstairs overlooking the lake. Used as the bridal suite for wedding celebrations, honeymoons and anniversaries, The Wharfedale Suite combines the comforts of a spa hotel with the benefits of spacious accommodation. Dales Suite (Lodge)

With a private outdoor hot tub surrounded by woods, The Dales Suite is a special place to kick off your shoes and soak your feet after a day spent wandering the woods and rambling the nearby hills. (It’s a great choice for a relaxing short break or a romantic rekindling couples holidays)

Bishopdale (Lodge)

Set closest to the main lake on the grounds, The Bishopdale Lodge is a post-card perfect spot to appreciate the natural beauty of Otley. From here, it’s a leisurely stroll up the hill to panoramic views of the West Yorkshire Dales and beyond. 

Chevin Country Park hotel offers rooms in the main hotel building and the woodland lodges, please advise us at the time of booking of your preference.

Please be aware that there is very limited Wi-Fi in the lodges due to their location being in the wooded area of the grounds. Full service of free Wi-Fi is available in main Hotel building.

The Lakeside Restaurant is a warm welcoming space. Where possible, the menus feature local organic produce including Bedale salmon and mussels from the Yorkshire coast. These specialities are complemented by an extensive wine list from which the restaurant staff would be delighted to provide a recommendation.

The Acorn Bar, as its name would suggest, hosts Chevin’s main bar, along with several tables surrounded by mounds of cushions on its informal benches. The bar is a place for guests to sit with friends, grab a bite – our lounge service menu is available 10.00am for mid-morning snacks, and from 12.00pm to 9pm for bar meals and afternoon tea – or catch up on outside events on the widescreen TV positioned in the conservatory area of the bar.

The cosy Snug Lounge, popular with families and friends alike, is a smaller area just outside the bar which stocks board games and books, and even more cushions than you could shake a stick at – and there are plenty pf those around Chevin! Its natural wood décor and warm colours are all part of the “snug” feeling of the lounge.

If you fancy some quiet time, make yourself at home in the Garden Lounge, where you’ll find yourself in a place without background music, only comfy sofas and room to read your newspaper in peace. The open fire is a relaxing feature in the evenings, and the patio doors giving direct access out to the main gardens are perfect for a breath of fresh air in the warmer months.

For a unique lunch alternative, the hotel offers a picnic menu, which they will deliver, to you anywhere in the hotels grounds. There are picnic tables available around the grounds which can be booked for lunch or afternoon tea - just let the hotel know when and where you'd like to eat and they will deliver and set up.... all you have to do is relax and enjoy your food

The leisure club at Chevin Country Park Hotel comprises of an indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, plus outdoor hot tub nestled at the edge of the main lake alongside the leisure club.

The gym caters for all levels of fitness. Gym bunnies will love the weight resistance machines, cardio vascular equipment and free weights, and if you fancy a gentler workout use the exercise balls and body conditioning programmes or head for a few laps in the swimming pool.

The leisure club is open to guests daily from 7am to 8pm (last entry 7pm) and the qualified gym instructors are always on hand for advice.

Please know that children are welcome to use the pool but under-18s must be accompanied by an adult, and under-fives must wear swimming nappies.

The spa comprises of two modern treatment rooms, one designed to accommodate couples or two friends who want to share their experience at the same time. The Spa offers a full range of pampering spa treatments including Swedish and hot stone massages, anti-aging facials, reflexology, and manicures and pedicures.
