THE BELSFIELD RESTAURANT
The Belsfield Restaurant offers unrivalled, unique and spectacular views over Lake Windermere and the fells beyond. When you visit the Lake District, you come to see the majesty of the lakes and hills, and the view from the restaurants is amongst the finest in the Lake District.

The Head Chef and his team have created a fusion of Nouvelle Cuisine and traditional British dishes. He uses Cumbrian produce where possible and offers a wide range of dishes catering for all tastes, using seasonal produce.

At the Laura Ashley Hotel The Belsfield wine is just as important as your food and they are proud of the extensive wine list, offering a collection of old and new world wines selected by the buying experts.

DRAWING ROOM AND LIBRARY
The juxtaposition of modern and classical elements celebrates the signature Laura Ashley style.
Laura Ashley interior designer Kay Cullen has used the archive chinoiserie range of wallpapers within the hotel to enhance the beautiful features within the building, whilst staying true to the buildings heritage.

This is most evident in the glamorous drawing room where we have used summer palace powder blue wallpaper, one of Laura Ashley’s archive print styles depicting birds and flowers, creating a relaxed and luxurious atmosphere.

This space sets the scene for the rest of the hotel where cheerful colours and classical furnishings give a sense of refined elegance throughout the hotel.
